L’ultimo giorno

It’s our last day in Europe and we could not feel more gratitude for the privilege we have to experience all of this. We visited a few more churches today, Leonel learned how to use a proper bidet, and we are determined to eat more delicious pasta!

I have a migraine but make it Italian while we wait for the ferry
Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari
The Assumption of the Virgin – Titian
Venice is really small so when a building is this big it’s really shocking. This basilica takes up so much space, it the biggest church I’ve ever been in.
Space Invader! 👾
This is Chiesa di San Silvestro. It’s the church right outside our hotel. Kind of unbelievable how many churches there are. Even on our walk between the Basilica and here we passed 2 more churches and it was only a 10 minute walk.
Eating gelato outside Chiesa di San Leone
Waited for 30 minutes in a long ass line for this fresh pasta from Dal Moro’s. It was good, but not as good as Harry’s Bar.
My favorite bird
My love
